Individual Cash Account

1. E-mail us your request for account opening documents at etrade@oriental-patron.com.hk or download the account opening documents directly from our website.

2. Please fill in and sign the following account opening documents:  

I)   Client Opening Form
ii)  Client Agreement  

After completing the above documents and returning to us together with a copy of the following supporting documents by post:  

iii) HKID or other valid document for proof of your identity
iv) Home address proof(For example: bank statement, electricity bill or telephone bill etc.)
v)  Bank account proof (For example: bankbook or bank statement etc.)
vi) For the purpose of client identification pursuant to the regulation of SFC, client who require to open a securities trading account by post may issue a cheque with amount not less than HK$10,000 payable to "Oriental Patron Securities Limited"* or arrange a certification for Account Opening Documents and the copy of client identity documents (such as copy of HKID card). The certification must be performed by a licensed or registered person, a Justice of Peace, or a professional person such as branch manager of a bank, certified public accountant, lawyer or notary public.

3. After Oriental Patron receives your application documents and all required information, an Account Number will be assigned to you by e-mail. You will receive your Trading Password by post shortly thereafter.

* You can send the completed and signed Account Opening Documents, other supporting documents and a cheque bearing your signature and with your name pre-printed on it and the cheque must:  

1) The cheque is obtained for the purpose of client identification only. And the cheque will be deposited into your Electronic Trading Services account for your securities trading.
2) Show your account name which must be pre-printed on the cheque. This account name must be the same as your name (name of the HKID or other valid document for proof of your identity) on the Electronic Trading Services Agreement and Electronic Trading Services Client Information Statement.
3) Bear the same signature with the Electronic Trading Services Agreement and Electronic Trading Services Client Information Statement.
4) The amount will be credited into your Electronic Trading Services account directly.
